Better Late Than Never * Part 1

I want to start by apologizing to Tammy, Keith, and Shaz, all of whom tagged me in the last couple of months.. The tags included instructions that I have yet to follow and for that I apologize, but today I'm paying it forward.

Before I go any further, I'd like to acknowledge my five. They represent the five souls that first welcomed me to the wonderful world of blogging, and they are listed across the top in the order in which I met them. To them I am forever appreciative and grateful.

Some of us are trying to lose a little (or a lot) of weight and some of us are just trying to maintain a healthy diet and life. To aid you in this endeavor please visit Lisa Shaw at Living A Fit Life. When I think of this blog I think of, "Dear friend, I am praying that all is well with you and that your body is as healthy as I know your soul is." 3 John 1:2 (NIV). For your soul, please Visit Lisa at Sharing Life with Lisa.

There's an old song that says, "I'm coming up on the rough side of the mountain". I'm not knocking the song but someone else on that same mountain may have had a different perspective and saw it as something to embrace, the same way Shaz embraces life On Her Way to Fabulous and 40. She's a sister at peace with her past, embracing the present, while excited about the brightness in her future. "Parents can provide their sons with an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the LORD can give an understanding wife." Proverbs 19:14. Jeffrey is sho nuff blessed!

The Lord GOD hath given {her} the tongue of the learned, that {she} should know how to speak a word in season to {anyone} that is weary: Shanita Waters, another Philly blogger, delivers the Word of God without restraint via her blog, By His Stripes We Are Healed. She's not been as active lately, but fortunately for us the Word of God has no time restraints so pay her a visit and check out the archives.

Challenging. Blunt. Honest. Intelligent. Those are just a few of the words I can think of to describe Zack of Go Zack fame. He may not realize it but I catch all of his posts. I don't always comment, but I always read. Because I don't comment often, Zack isn't aware of the times I've respectfully disagreed with his self assessments. That being said, I fall back on the Biblical Story of Gideon. While Gideon may have been accurate in his self assessment, God still showed that HE was correct in describing him as a "Mighty Man of Valor." Zack, you're blessed and a blessing.

I hope you take the opportunity to visit these blessed individuals, and thanks for stopping by.

Sorry I'm a little late...

Thanks for such a reflective view of myself. Proverbs 19:14 is the perfect passage from the bible for us. I shared this with Jeff and he completely agrees.

Thanks again Big Bro!
